Guidelines for Derivative Work Production and Content Use
Abstract
In an attempt to promote fair use of our services and content (hereinafter referred to as the "Content") and to prevent unnecessary conflicts between users while using the Content, Vespa Inc. (the "Company") has established the content use guidelines as follows.
The information in the guidelines covers the production of derivative
works based on the Content as well as the act of displaying the
Content, including in-game clips and screenshots, online or
offline.
Note that the following guidelines only apply to individuals and not
to corporations.

Please understand that any information in the guidelines is subject to change without notice, and the Company shall not be liable or responsible for any damage or loss incurred as a result of such changes.
1. Production of Derivative Work
General production of derivative works from the Content is only
allowed for private and noncommercial purposes.
Using the Content for publication and coterie activity is allowed so
long as it is not inappropriate and excessive in the pursuit of
profit.
However, any reproduction work that lacks original creativity, e.g.
tracing or using the images or logos from the Content as they are, is
prohibited.
2. Use of Copyrighted Content
You may use any images and other copyrighted materials from the
Content for private, non-profit use.
Character lines and story plots of the Content are also allowed for
use, but only in the form of simple quoting.
However, it is prohibited to copy, rip, or distribute any sound
sources or musical works from the Content. Creation of vocal and
instrumental covers, which typically involves a fair amount of
creativity, is considered as a sole exception to this.
You may use in-game screenshots and game clips at your discretion, but
please be considerate to other users and try not to spoil the main
story or any other important in-game information.
Please make sure to include the copyright mark below in your derivative works when they involve use of images and screenshots of the Content.

3. Prohibitions
Please understand that your right to use the Content for the purpose of derivative work production and/or for any other purposes may be restricted in case you
- use the Content in a way that is injurious to public morals;
- use the Content in a way that can undermine the Company¡¯s and/or Content's public image;

rework the copyrighted writings or change the color scheme or
vertical/horizontal ratio of copyrighted content;
- imply in any way that your work is an official release from the Company;
- publicly sabotage copyrighted content or content-related products;
- express or describe the Content to be overly sexual;
- use the Content in a way that can infringe the rights of third parties;
- use the Content in a way that would harm third parties;
- use the Content in any way that the Company may consider inappropriate.
4. Note
All information in the guidelines only applies to the Content that the
Company holds the sole right to, and not to Content whose copyright is
shared between the Company and a separate single person or multiple
persons;
the establishment of these guidelines neither implies that the Company
represents all third party copyright holders¡¯ opinions, nor that the
duty to contact the appropriate copyright holder for permission before
reproducing the Content is exempted.
Therefore, please keep in mind that the Company has no obligations to
be involved in any legal disputes related to the use of the Content
without permission of the copyright holder.
